Tuesday 10/09 - In-Class:
1. Design Reflection journal (5 minutes): What did you learn about your chosen composer in your research this weekend that will influence your design concept?
2. Peer feedback on your 2 poster concepts and your research: Get into groups of 3/4. (12:40-1:00pm)
3. Image and font research for your projects- Independent work on computers (1-1:30pm)
4. Illustrator typography review - Kerning, Leading Exercise (1:30-2:00pm)


Thursday 10/11 - In-Class:

I will be away, but an attendance sheet will be collected by Professor Dunn or Han, and I want you to use this class time to work on your Project #2 posters. You should have a rough digital draft of your chosen poster concept, done by the end of class today, and printed FROM YOUR ILLUSTRATOR FILE, on 8.5 x 11" paper (select "Scale to fit paper" when you print). I will check that you have this rough printed mini-draft on Tuesday!



Week 6 Homework, due Tuesday 10/16

1. Completed creative brief + your PRINTED rough poster are due Tuesday. You should have printed this out in class Thursday or before class next Tuesday, not at the beginning of class next Tuesday.

2. Finish reading Chapter 6 this weekend and bring an example of RHYTHM in GRAPHIC DESIGN to class if you haven't already.
