For class Thursday: Spend a half-hour doing your part of the Creative Brief research for your organization. Start an email list for your team mates—By Wednesday at 6pm, send an email to your team to let them know what research you've found online about your organization/cause and will be bringing to class Thursday for your next team meeting. You will put the brief information together as a group.

1. Intro to Photoshop lessons (12:30 - 1:15). Download these files. 2. (1:15-2:00) Design team meetings - Put your creative brief research together, and then group brainstorm on PSA design concepts. We will do brainstorming exercises! Complete the last part of the creative brief.
Week 8 Homework: 1. For your group project:
Your completed group Creative Brief (only 1 brief needs to be turned in)
20 thumbnails EACH + your full-size concept sketch
2. Review Chapters 7-9 - Take home Quiz 3 due Tuesday:
Give a paragraph summary of how an artist might use the element Shape (chapter 8) to create the principles of Emphasis & Focal Point in a design?
Give a paragraph summary of how an artist might use the elements Pattern and/or Texture (chapter 9) in a composition to create the principle of Rhythm.
